Curriculum Vitae

After graduating from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague (specialization mathematical statistics) in 1987 I began to work as a biostatistician. I have been participating in a statistical analysis of epidemiological studies including a preparation of study designs, a description of statistical method and interpretation of results. I am a co-author of the monograph “Statistical methods in epidemiology” (Karolinum 2003). In 2006 I defended my PhD thesis in the study field Biomedical informatics at 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. Title of my PhD thesis was “Cardiovascular Disease Risk Estimation Based on Data from Epidemiological Studies”.
