The European Centre for Medical Informatics, Statistics and Epidemiology (EuroMISE Centre), located in Pod Vodárenskou věží 2, 182 07, Prague 8, Czech Republic, is a joint workplace of

Organizationally, The Centre is comprised from:

  • the main workplace, the Department of Medical Informatics, which is an organizational unit of the Institute of Computer Science AS CR, and
  • dislocated workplaces, which are organizational unites of the rest of founding institutions (Charles University in Prague, University of Economics in Prague, General University in Prague, and Municipal Hospital in Čáslav).

The main activities of the joint workplaces can be seen in the movie about the EuroMISE Centre. In the framework of the EuroMISE Centre there is a working division oriented to cardiology. This division provides an outpatient department of preventive cardiology and other scientific and research activities of the EuroMISE Centre with applications to cardiology.

The director of the EuroMISE Centre is Prof. Dr. Jana Zvárová, Ph.D., DSc., from the Institute of Computer Science AS CR, Pod Vodárenskou věží 2, 182 07 Prague 8, Czech Republic and the deputy director of the EuroMISE Centre is Petr Hanzlíček, MSc., Ph.D. , from the Institute of Computer Science AS CR.

Functioning of the EuroMISE Centre is administrated by its Council, which is composed of one representative of each founding organizations.
